In the meeting, they signed a memorandum of understanding on sending workers. In addition, he discussed the fraternal harmony between the two countries, orderly and responsible immigration, prevention of human trafficking, discouraging irregular immigration, and the labor market situation in Libya.
In the meeting, the Libyan Charge d'Affaires thanked the Bangladesh government for lifting the ban on sending workers to Libya. He said the Libyan government is determined to protect the rights of foreign workers.
He said, the role of Bangladeshi workers in the development of Libya deserves great praise. The current Libyan government has undertaken a massive development program. He expressed hope that Bangladesh workers will play a fruitful role in moving the wheels of the Libyan economy.
